We sell steamed lobster and crab fresh from the sea to picnic tables overlooking the working waterfront at Fifield Point.
We’re open Monday – Friday, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm,
by reservation only.
Our steamed seafood comes straight from working fishermen, caught fresh, that very same day. Take in the view from our picnic tables, lining the commercial waterfront. Burnt Cove Boil is located on the grounds of Fifield Lobster Co., family-owned since 1940. You may catch a glimpse of boats unloading their haul, seals chasing fish through the cove, or a great blue heron perched on rocks. Our point is also home to some of Stonington’s most magnificent sunsets.
Enjoy world-famous Maine lobster! Stonington is the top lobster port in the state, landing over 23 million pounds of lobster last year alone. Experience the fresh taste of Stonington seafood, straight from the waters of Penobscot Bay to the picnic tables of Burnt Cove Boil.
Burnt Cove Boil is hosted by Island resident, Jake McCarty. Jake will answer your questions about the lobster industry while you enjoy your seafood overlooking the commercial waterfront.
